What Is a Pneumatic Flange Ball Valve?
It combines a two-piece, two-way flanged ball valve with a pneumatic actuator. The body halves are bolted together around the ball, and the actuator – driven by compressed air – turns the ball a quarter turn to open or close the line.
Flanged ends give a secure, leak-free connection and make installation and maintenance simple, while the full-port design keeps flow restriction to a minimum. Pneumatic actuation is fast, economical and suitable for hazardous areas, and with the right accessories the valve can be controlled remotely from your PLC or DCS.
Benefits
- Easy installation and maintenance, full bore and large flow
- Tight shut-off from the ball and PTFE seat
- Flanges to ANSI, JIS, GB or DIN on request
- Fast response, low operating cost, explosion-proof by nature
- Remote control with solenoid valve, limit switch or positioner
- Assembled and tested as one unit before shipment
